Fallout of COVID-19

To our loyal patrons and DIB family,

Due to the recent restrictions of public gatherings and the performing arts due to COVID-19 we have had to make the incredibly difficult decision of cancelling and postponing all DoItBig events for the foreseeable future. This includes our annual Cabaret fundraiser scheduled for later this month as well as our June productions of The Addams Family and The Addams Family Jr.

We are Incredibly thankful for the cast members, parents, and all others who have already put so much work into rehearsals and show prep. DoItBig is possible year after year due to all of your support and those of local businesses. Without the funds from our annual Cabaret as well as with the current closings of many places of business we find that it would be insensitive to expect our locals to be able to donate to our cause or put advertisements into our Plaudit this year. We will not have time to reach our deadline to pay for the theatre rental, sets, performing rights, band, sound, or costumes.

We are in a very uncertain time at the moment and hope to have more answers as time moves on. For now, we are thankful for your understanding and grace while we work through rescheduling our performance calendar and examine our possibilities.
